Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to implement the order passed by the second respondent on 25.02.2020 in Mu.Mu.A1-6739-2019 and to grant patta to the petitioner bearing Old Survey No.93-4, New Survey No.93-4A measuring about 5 acres 29 cents in Managiri Sukkanendhal Group, Thalakkavur Panchayat, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District based on petitioner's representation dated 31.12.2021 and consider the same within the time frame fixed by this Court and pass such further or other orders.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

W.P(MD)No.2109 of 2022 2.It is stated by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 that a writ petition in W.P(MD) No.2766 of 2021 is pending before this Court and an order has been passed on 15.02.2021 staying further proceedings pursuant to the order of the second respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer, Devakottai, Sivagangai District, by which order, the second respondent had directed the third respondent to examine and grant patta. Since that order had been stayed, the third respondent cannot proceed further. However, the present writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to the third respondent to proceed further. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
