O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing respondents 2 to 4 to cancel the patta bearing No. 4428 dated 13.10.1992, standing in the name of the 6th respondent society, by reclassifying the vacant land as a public pathway, comprised in Survey Nos. 131/1B1 and 131/1AS1, measuring 12 feet in breadth and 2/5

390 feet in length, situated at T.S. Ramalinga Nagar, Palayampatti Village, Aruppukkottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, based on the petitioner's representation submitted to respondents 1 to 5 dated 10.01.2024, within a time frame as may be stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 6 submitted that the patta had already been cancelled and, therefore, nothing survives for adjudication.
