O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed directing the first respondent to issue patta to the petitioners based on the order of Dindigul RDO proceedings in Na.Ka.No.4212/2024/A4, dated 24.04.2025 and subsequent petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2026.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the third respondent, notice to the third respondent is hereby dispensed with.

4. According to the petitioners, they have submitted a representation dated 05.01.2026 to the respondents requesting issuance of a Patta in their name in respect of the property in T.S.No.1961/1A, in an extent of 4550 sq. ft., Block 47, Anna Nagar upperside, 6th Ward, Dindigul Town, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District. Despite the petitioner's representation, the respondents have not conducted any enquiry or taken steps to issue the patta, causing undue delay and prejudice to the petitioner. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 2/5

5. The learned Government Advocate for the first respondent submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered on its merits and in accordance with law.

Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2026, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders based on the order of Dindigul RDO proceedings in Na.Ka.No.4212/2024/A4, dated 24.04.2025 within a period of Sixteen (16) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The respondents 1 and 2 are directed to provide reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the petitioner, third respondent and also to the other persons, who may be affected by such decision.
