[Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.] The prayer in the Writ Petition is to direct the first respondent to grant 28 days ordinary leave without police escort to the petitioner's brother namely Sivasankaran, S/o.Raju aged about 43 years, Life Convict PID No.962 confined at Central Prison, Trichy on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 31.10.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. Pending Writ petition the representation of the petitioner was considered and 28 days ordinary leave was granted to the convict by an order dated 27.01.2026.
