ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2. 2.The petitioner wants this Court to direct the second respondent to cancel the petition mentioned document. The petition mentioned document was executed and registered on 28.02.2003. The petitioner obviously wants to take advantage of the subsequently issued circulars and recently re-introduce of Section 77A of the Registration Act. Vide order dated 02.01.2023 in W.P.(MD)No.6947 of 2019 (E.Geetha Helan Alexandria and Others Vs. The Joint Sub Registrar No.II, Dindigul and Others), I have held that such request cannot be accepted. If the petitioner is of the view that his civil rights have been infringed, he has to necessarily move the jurisdictional Civil Court for relief. No relief can be obtained from the authority under the Registration Act. 2/4

3.Granting liberty to the writ petitioner in the aforesaid term, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
