The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to dispose of the petition dated 28.11.2018 filed by the petitioner along with the original documents for the registration of death of his wife at the earliest or at the time that may be stipulated by this Court. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.2288 of 2020 sought for in the Writ Petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication in this matter.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
