ORDER

Seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.243 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent police, this Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The matter pertains to a matrimonial dispute between the de-facto complainant, who is the wife of one Nithyanantham, the son of the first and second petitioners.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that a compromise has already been arrived at between the parties and that the second respondent, Karthika, is living happily with her husband in a separate residence. It was further submitted that the petitioners have facilitated the said separate residence and ensured the happy living of the second respondent with her husband. 2/4

5. The learned counsel for the second respondent fairly conceded the same.

6. In view of the above, the First Information Report in Crime No.243 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent police is hereby quashed, and this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
