O R D E R

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Petitioner sought police protection to the life and liberty of the Petitioner against the Respondent No.4.

2. The learned counsel for the Petitioner would also submit that the 4th Respondent has filed a suit in O.S.No.229 of 2023 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Kulithalai, wherein, the Petitioner herein is the Defendant and after full trial, the learned District Munsif dismissed the suit. The 4th Respondent, who has no right over the property, has threatened the Petitioner and therefore, the Petitioner is forced to file this petition seeking a direction against the Respondents 1 to 3 to grant police protection against the 4th Respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instruction from the Respondents 1 to 3 would submit that CSR is pending on the basis of the 2/5

complaint given by the Petitioner's wife and the 3rd Respondent has issued summons to the Petitioner's wife as well as the 4th Respondent. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the Respondents 1 to 3 will abide by the Circular of the Director General of Police, Head of Police Force, Tamil Nadu State, Chennai-4 in Rc.No.892914/X1/2020 dated 12.03.2021.

4. In the light of the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Petitioner is directed to appear before the Respondent No.3 if summons are issued in writing specifying time and date of enquiry.
