ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam, Tirunelveli District to expedite the trial in C.C.No.97 of 2018 on its file and complete the same within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that there are 10 witnesses in this case and the trial is scheduled to commence on 13.06.2019.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that to the extent he has information, summons have been served on all the witnesses.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam, Tirunelveli District, is directed to complete the trial in C.C.No.97 of 2018 within a period of three months from 13.06.2019.
