ORDER

The plaintiffs in O.S.No.85 of 2020 on the file of the District Munsif, Cheranmahadevi are the revision petitioners herein.

2. The plaintiffs have filed the above said suit for the relief of declaration that the plaintiffs and defendants 1 and 2 are the legal heirs of the deceased Sottayan.

3. A perusal of the B-Diary extract reveals that issues were framed on 17.07.2023. The suit was dismissed as against the 1st defendant for non-payment of batta and an application in I.A.No.2 of 2024 is pending to restore the suit as against the 1st defendant. The plaintiffs have also filed I.A.No.1 of 2020 under Section 80 (2) of Code of Civil Procedure seeking exemption from sending suit notice to the Government officials. The present revision petition has been filed seeking expeditious disposal of the suit.

Considering the fact that, so far the 1st defendant has not been served and interlocutory applications in I.A.Nos.1 of 2020 and 2 of 2024 are pending, this Court is not inclined to issue any direction for the disposal of the suit. However, considering the fact that the interim applications are pending from the year 2020 and 2024, this Court is inclined to direct the learned District Munsif, Cheranmahadevi to dispose of I.A.Nos.1 of 2020 and 2 of 2024 on or before 30.06.2025.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
