PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, To call for the records relating to the charge sheet in CC No.55/2024 on the file of Learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Srirangam and Quash the same as against the petitioner and pass such further or other orders. ORDER

The present petition has been filed by Accused in C.C.No.55 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Srirangam, seeking to quash the charge sheet, wherein he is charged with the offences under Sections 279 & 304(A) of IPC.

2. Pending trial, the parties have entered into a compromise, wherein, the defacto complainant has agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

3. The defacto complainant is present in-person before this Court on 29.04.2026 and he acknowledged that he had agreed for quashing of charge sheet as against the petitioner.

4. The learned Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent would submit that the entire compensation amount has been paid.

5. Considering the above said facts, charge sheet in C.C.No.55 of 2024, pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Srirangam is hereby quashed as against the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. The joint compromise memo shall form part and parcel of the order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
