3. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction against the respondent to give the answer sheets of the petitioner and answer key for the examination of Group II and Group II-A examination dated 25.02.2023 conducted by the respondent and also pass suitable orders for re-evaluation of the answer sheets of Group II and Group II-A examination dated 25.02.2023 for Registration No.1010030185, by considering the representation dated 12.01.2024.
4. Mr.K.Sivabalan, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent issued notification dated 23.02.2022 for direct recruitment to the posts included in Combined Civil Services Examination-II and the petitioner applied for Group II and Group II A examination. The petitioner appeared before the preliminary examination on 21.05.2022 and after clearing the 2/5
preliminary examination, the petitioner appeared for main examination on 25.02.2023. When the respondent published the results in its official website on 11.01.2024, the petitioner's name was not found in the list of selected candidates. Though the petitioner attended the main examination very well and expecting more marks, she was not qualified to participate in the next level of viva process. Hence, the petitioner preferred a representation dated 12.01.2024 requesting the respondent to furnish the answer sheets of the petitioner for the examination of Group II and Group II-A examination dated 25.02.2023. Since no action was taken on the petitioner's representation, she has come before this Court by way of filing this Writ Petition.
5. Mr.V.Paneer Selvam, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the copy of the answer sheet will not be furnished until the selection process is completed. In such case, the benefit can be granted to the petitioner once the selection process is completed, as the terms and conditions and instructions pertaining to TNPSC examination does not have the facility of getting the copy of the answer sheet. Even before the selection process is completed, the relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted. But however, she is entitled to get a copy once the selection is over. 3/5
