O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus as against the first respondent to dispose of the complaint lodged by the petitioner under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007, dated 24.12.2025.

2. As per the averments in the writ affidavit, it is clear that the petitioner has executed a registered settlement deed in favour of her daughter on 27.04.2017. She had lodged a complaint before the first respondent on 24.12.2025 under the above said Act, for cancellation of the settlement deed. Since the complaint has not been disposed of, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the complaint lodged by the petitioner after giving due opportunity to the second respondent and complete the enquiry within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
