Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent / Executive Officer, Selection Grade Town Panchayat, Vadipatti, Madurai District to provide 20ft breadth pathway to access to the Government Hospital Vadipatti, directly from NH7 Highway Road, North to South forthwith, instead of giving inside through the Bus Stand and by removing the unauthorized constructions of the Shopping Complex building.

2.The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent / Executive Officer, Selection Grade Town Panchayat, Vadipatti, Madurai District to provide 20ft breadth pathway to access to the Government Hospital Vadipatti, directly from NH7 Highway Road, North to South forthwith, instead of giving pathway through the Bus Stand and by removing the unauthorized constructions of the Shopping Complex building. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.[MD]No.2397 of 2020 3.It appears that there is encroachment and the present access to the Government hospital, Vadipatti, is through the bus stand. The petitioner seeks for a direction to provide 20 ft road from the National Highways NH7. It is not clear whether it is permissible to have an access directly into a National Highway and it is for the authorities to take into consideration the same. 4.Hence, we dispose of this Writ Petition by directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.09.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight [8] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
In order to facilitate the first respondent to comply with this direction, the petitioner is direction to forward a copy of the representation along with a copy of this order to the first respondent. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
