The instant writ petition has been filed by an aspirant to the post of Police Constable/Fireman, seeking a mandamus to consider his representation dated 12.12.2024.
2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner has applied to the post of Police Constable Gr.II/Fireman, pursuant to the notification issued in the year 2017. Though, he was selected for Armed Reserve, his selection was later cancelled based upon the involvement of criminal case. The petitioner was not successful in the previous writ petition filed before this Court seeking appointment in the Armed Reserve Force. Thereafter, the petitioner has given a representation to the first respondent on 12.12.2024, seeking for being appointed in the post of fireman. The said representation has been forwarded by the first respondent to the second respondent. Since, no orders have been passed by the second respondent, the present writ petition has been filed.

Considering the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner dated 12.12.2024 which was forwarded by the first respondent herein on 20.12.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above said observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
