: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 3 to 5 to produce the body or person of the petitioner's brother namely Saba @ Sabarathinam, S/o.Pandi, aged 31, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by S.VIMALA, J] The petitioner/brother of the detenu has alleged in the Habeas Corpus Petition that his brother was taken away by the respondents Police on 09.03.2008 at 08.00 a.m. without disclosing the reason for apprehension and in spite of the representation given to the Higher Officials on 09.03.2018, the whereabouts of the detenu not known. 2.We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. We have also perused the records carefully.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner was arrested on 09.03.2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 392, 397, 294(b) and 506(2) of IPC and 25 (1)(a) of ARMS Act, 1959, in Crime No.153 of 2018 by the Inspector of Police, S.S.Colony Police Station, Madurai City, Madurai and was remanded to Judicial custody before the learned Judicial Magistrate V, Madurai, on 10.03.2018.
