ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested on 05.10.2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 387 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.141 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.It is the case of the prosecution that when the defacto complainant and his friend were standing at tea shop in the main bazaar of Suthamali and at that time the accused party and some other accused namely Maruthu, Mani had jointly detained the defacto complainant and claimed Rs.500/- for purpose of intoxication and they were tried to extort money from the defacto complainant and when the same was refused, the accused parties threatened the defacto complainant with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he has nothing to do with the alleged offence. He would further submit that the petitioner is the only son of his aged mother. However, on instructions would submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any condition to be imposed by this Court.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the

petitioner has twenty previous case out of which two cases are u/s.302 IPC, one case is under section 307 IPC and other cases are robbery and dacoity. He would further submit that all those case are pending against the petitioner and hence he vehemently opposed for grant of bail.

5. Taking into consideration, the nature and gravity of offence and there are twenty cases are pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
