RESPONDENT/APPELLANT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to condone the delay of 23 days in filing this Criminal Appeal against the order passed in Crl.Appeal No.19 of 2017 dated 27/02/2019 on the files of the Principal Sessions Court, Thoothukudi reversing the order passed in C.C.No.477 of 2013 dated 16/02/2017 on the file of the Fast Track Court(Magistrate level), Thoothukudi and thus render justice.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.C.HEROLD SINGH, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.K.HARIHARAN, Advocate on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 23 days in filing the above Criminal Appeal against the order passed in Crl.A.No.19 of 2017, dated 27.02.2019 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Court, Thoothukudi, reversing the order passed in C.C.No.477 of 2013, dated 16.02.2017 on the file of the Fast Track Court (Magisterial Level), Thoothukudi.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 3.There is no strong objection on the side of the respondent.

CRL MP(MD) No.998 of 2020 4.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition and in the interest of justice, this petition is allowed on payment of Rs.3,00/- (Rupees Three hundred only) to the Chief Justice Relief Fund (payable in Accounts Section of the High Court Registry), within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which this petition shall stand dismissed automatically without further reference to this Court.
