ORDER

The petitioner complains that the respondent police are dragging the investigation in the case registered in Crime No.116 of 2019 on the basis of the complaint that he had filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that there is a case and counter case, but the respondent police are not proceeding against the accused in the petitioner's case.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that all the accused in Crime No.116 of 2019 are absconding.

5. Refuting the said statement strongly, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the accused persons are very much available in the Town and he can even provide the details of their whereabouts.

6. In view of the above, this Court now directs the Assistant Commissioner of Police (L & O), Thilagar Thidal Police Station, Madurai District, to oversee the investigation process and instructs him to ensure that the investigation is taken to his logical end https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

without any let and strictly in accordance with law.

7. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
