This writ petition has been filed seeking Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to sanction selection grade in the post of Librarian Grade-I on completion of ten years of service i.e., w.e.f. 01.03.2021 on par with similarly placed persons.

2. During the course of hearing, Mr.M.Siddharthan, the learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the first respondent issued proceedings dated 19.02.2025, sanctioning selection grade to the petitioner with effect from 02.03.2021F.N. He has placed the copy of proceedings dated 19.02.2025 before this Court. The learned Counsel for the petitioner has also endorsed the same.

3. In view of the above factual position, in my considered opinion that no further adjudication or orders are required in the present writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
