Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 more particularly, the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.11.2021 submitted by the petitioner for initiating action as against the fourth respondent for pledging his jewellery owned by his wife by making false representation and illegal unbelievable facts from the petitioner forthwith.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondent 1 to 3.

2. The petitioner had given a complaint against the fourth respondent. The petitioner's grievance is that it is not being looked into. The third respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.2060 of 2022 and take action as per law. The enquiry shall be concluded within a period of four weeks. If at the end of enquiry, the third respondent comes to the conclusion that cognizable offence is made out, FIR shall be registered. If the third respondent comes to the conclusion that no case is made out, then the closure report served on the petitioner so that the petitioner can take recourse to appropriate legal remedies. With this direction to the third respondent, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
