PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry on the basis of the representation sent by the petitioner dated 24.02.2019. For Petitioner : Mr.Saravagan Prabu For Respondents : Mr.V.Neelakandan Additional Public Prosecutor

ORDER

The petitioner is an accused in Crime No.88 of 2019 and now complaints that he is being harassed by the second respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the above said case is under investigation and there is no harassment. He also added that the petitioner is engaged in lottery sale repeatedly.

4. In view of the above submission, the respondents are now directed to proceed against the petitioner strictly and only in accordance with law. Sofar as the pending criminal case is concerned, the same may be investigated again strictly as per law. The respondents are instructed not to resort to any extra legal means in the matter.

5. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
