ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.VIMALA, J] This petition has been filed by the petitioner/father, seeking a direction to the respondents to produce her daughter/ detenu, namely, Ms.N.Jeyamari, aged about 20 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2.It is alleged that from 06.03.2018, the detenu was found missing. The petitioner searched her at various places and since, he could not out trace her, the petitioner preferred a complaint to the respondent police on 06.03.2018 and since the respondents https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

have not taken any steps, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the detenu is produced before this Court by the respondent police. On being enquired, the detenu would submit that she married one Mr.Nagarajan. She would further submit that she is prepared to live with her husband and she is not prepared to accompany her father. Today, the petitioner/father is also present before this Court and he is not prepared to take back his daughter. 4.Considering the fact that the detenu, namely N.Jeyamari has attained majority and also the fact that she is desirous to accompany her husband namely Mr.Nagarajan, she is at liberty to act as per her own wish.
