Respondents PRAYER: The petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the person or body of the detenue namely, minor Nathiya daughter of Chinnasamy aged about 17 years before this Court and hand over to the petitioner.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM,J.) Detenu, daughter of the petitioner, who has now attained majority, is produced before this Court. Petitioner as also his wife are present.

2.Although the petitioner and his wife inform that detenu has been kidnapped three months before she attained majority, we find that as on date she is major and that she informs of having entered upon marriage with one Mr.G.Premnath, who she informs to be her aunt's son and that she wishes to accompany her husband. Such marriage is yet to be registered.

3.In the circumstance, Habeas Corpus petition shall stand closed. Connected Crl.M.P.is closed.
