ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents herein to not to harass the petitioner on the guise of the enquiry.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. 3.Perused the materials placed on record.

4.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that one Saravanan had committed suicide in respect of which, a case in Crime No.30 of 2020 has been registered by the second respondent for the offence under Section 174 of Cr.P.C. He would further submit that the petitioner has been called over phone with regard to enquire facts relating to the death of the said Saravanan and the respondents have not harassed the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.2002 of 2020 5.Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.
