Today, this case is listed under the caption "for being mentioned", at the instance of the learned Counsel for the petitioner.

2. It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that clarification is required as to how the period of suspension could be treated as punishment.

3. Admittedly, the disciplinary proceedings are pending against the petitioner. It is for the disciplinary authority, at the time of passing the final orders of punishment to decide the manner in which the period of suspension is to be treated on passing the punishment.

4. In view of the same, there is no necessity to modify the earlier order. Accordingly in the light of the above clarification, no further orders are necessary.
