PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C to direct the first respondent to instruct the 2nd respondent to find out the petitioner's daughter namely Varshini, D/o.A.Soundirapandian aged about 24 years within a time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the first respondent to instruct the 2nd respondent to find out the petitioner's daughter namely Varshini, D/o.A.Soundirapandian aged about 24 years within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent police to track his missing daughter. Even a case has not been registered till 25.03.3019, he lamented.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the preliminary enquiry disclosed that the petitioner's daughter, aged about 24 years has developed love affair with a man and has decided to live the way she wants.

5. In view of the above submission, the Investigating Agency is now directed to ensure that the ongoing preliminary enquiry is brought to a logical end at the very earliest. He is also directed to intimate the petitioner about the same.
