ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide necessary police protection to the canteen and employers run by the Madurai Differently abled Persons Welfare Association allotted by TANSIDCO vide order No. Rg Lr. 33927/1E6/91 dated 20.01.1992 located in the campus of Kappallur SIDCO at Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District on the basis of considering the petitioners representation dated 08.01.2025.

The petitioner who is the President of Madurai Differently abled persons Welfare Association has sent a complaint on 08.01.2025 stating that on 19.11.2025 has taken over charge and the persons who are the rival group are creating disturbance and not permitted the petitioner to function. On 19.11.2022 the general body meeting was held and the private respondents were received from the association. This being so, the respondents 4 and 5 are now joining with some other persons and creating disturbance in the smooth functioning of the canteen which is being run in Kappalur SIDCO Industrial Estate. Hence he has sent a representation to the respondent police to provide necessary police protection

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in this case earlier complaint was lodged by Ramalingam and the respondents 4 and 5. CSR No. 950 of 2024 assigned and thereafter it was closed.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner opposed the same stating that complaint is the stage managed complaint and the 3/6

respondents 4 and 5 are creating disturbance and hence CSR No.950 of 2024 has got no connection with the complaint of the petitioner dated 08.01.2025.

4. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to appear before the third respondent police on 05.02.2025 and on that day the respondent police to ensure the presence of respondents 4 and 5 and thereafter enquire the same and conclude it within a period of two months from 05.02.2025.

5. With the above direction the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
