ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.108 of 2022, dated 29.07.2022 for the offence under Sections 120(b), 442, 34, 427, 143, 147, 294(b), 506(ii) and 114 of IPC, 1860.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner is pending and that the investigation is also pending.

3. The pendency of the anticipatory bail petition, by no stretch of imagination, can be considered as a bar or prohibition for the investigation. Hence, the respondent Police is directed to proceed with the investigation and file final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4.With these directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
