PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant qualification approval with effect from 19.10.2007 by passing orders on the proposal of the 2nd respondent in SJC/2811/AO/2024 dated 27.06.2024 within the period that may be stipulated by this court.

O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed an Assistant Professor appointed to the second respondent college, seeking a mandamus as against the first respondent to grant qualification approval with effect from 19.10.2007.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner herein was appointed as a Assistant Professor in the second respondent college on 19.10.2007. The management has forwarded the qualification approval proposal to the first respondent herein on 27.06.2024. So far, no orders have been passed by the first respondent. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. According to the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent, they will take a decision within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

In view of the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to consider the proposal submitted by the second respondent management seeking qualification approval for the appointment of the writ petitioner and pass orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
