The petitioner School has filed this petition seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 3 and 4 to approve forthwith the appointment of D.Jeya Seela Rajathi as Record Clerk with effect from 01.06.2018 in their school and disburse the grant-in-aid towards her salary with all attendant benefits from the said date.

2. The petitioner School has appointed one D.Jeya Seela Rajathi as Record Clerk with effect from 01.06.2018 in the vacancy that arose due to the retirement of A.Kulandai. Subsequently, the petitioner School has submitted a proposal to the third respondent through the fourth respondent on 24.08.2023 for approval of appointment of D.Jeya Seela Rajathi as Record Clerk. Since no orders were passed in the proposal, the petitioner School has come up with this writ petition. 2/4

3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the proposal of the petitioner School dated 24.08.2023 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
