The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.197 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police registered for the offence under Sections 406, 468 and 420 IPC. He has moved this petition seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.197 of 2023 pending against him.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that pending this petition, the petitioner/sole accused died on 20.03.2025.

3. Since it is reported that the petitioner died on 20.03.2025, this Criminal Original Petition is closed as abated. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
