ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to direct the third respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would contend that the complaint lodged by the petitioner's wife namely, Venkateshwari, with the third respondent and the same was registered in First Information Report in Crime No.4 of 2021 of All Women Police Station, Palani, against the present petitioner, for the offences punishable under Sections 294 (b), 498(A) and 406 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.Recording the said submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the third respondent police is directed to follow the guidelines of D.K.Basu Vs. State of West Bengal reported in AIR (1997) SC 610.
