ORDER

The petitioner has given a representation on 19.01.2022 seeking patta for lands in Survey Nos.95/5B1, 5B2, measuring 9 cents at T.Pachari - Tiruchuli, Tiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2. Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader stated that the representation had been given only on 19.01.2022. However, it is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the name of the petitioner is reflected in the Village 'A' Register.

4. Let the petitioner make a fresh application through online and pay necessary charges and thereafter, if the application is in order and can be acted upon, then, let the second respondent / https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.2066 of 2022 the Tahsildar, Thiruchuli, Virudhunagar District, issue notice to the petitioner and also to any other rival claimants or neighbours in that particular area, examine the records, examine whether the petitioner is in possession, and then, take a considered decision regarding the grant or otherwise of patta. The entire exercise should be completed by the second respondent within a period of sixteen (16) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order / filing of fresh application by the petitioner.

5. With the said observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
