This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to expedite the investigation and file Final Report in Crime No. 2071 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent police within a period of time as fixed this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that the case has been closed as undetected on 12.03.2024 and hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.
