Prayer in CRL OP(MD) No.15296 of 2017:- Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code to direct the learned District and sessions Judge (PCR Court), Dindigul to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider his bail application on the same day on merits in relation to Crime No.355 of 2017 dated 24.08.17. ORDER : This Miscellaneous petition coming on for hearing upon perusing the petition, the affidavit filed in support thereof and the earlier order of this Court dated 10/11/2017 and upon hearing Mr.S.MAHENDRAPATHY, Advocate for the petitioners and of Mr.K.S.Durai Pandian, Additional Public Prosecutor for Respondents 1 & 2, this
Court made the following order:- This Criminal Miscellaneous petition has been filed to extend the time granted to the petitioners in Crl.O.P(MD) No.15296 of 2017, dated 10.11.2017.
2. This Court by an order dated 10.11.2017, directed the petitioners to surrender before the learned District and Sessions Judge (PCR Court), Dindigul, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such surrender, to consider the bail application filed by the petitioners in connection with Crime No.355 of 2017. Since the petitioners cannot appear within the time prescribed by this Court, the present petition is filed.
3. Having regard to the reasons stated in the petition and the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to allow this petition and the time granted earlier in the order dated 10.11.2017 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.15296 of 2017 is extended by another period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
