ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present petition to direct the first and second respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members life and limb with protection for irrigating water to paddy crops in Survey no.132/3, 134/B through the public Channel with his own motor electricity connection No.235, in Survey No.133/6A, which is situated at Ettiseri Village, Sankarankovil Taluk, Thenkasi District, based on the representation, dated 09.01.2021 and on the online complaint dated 22.01.2021 and 03.02.2021.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had given several representations to the respondent police, but, the respondent police failed to take any action and hence, the petitioner filed this Petition.

3.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the first and second respondents, on instructions, would https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2103 of 2021 submit that earlier complaint dated 29.12.2020 given by the petitioner was closed by the second respondent on 16.01.2021. 4.In view of the above, the second respondent police is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order / uploading of the order. .

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
