Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner alleges harassment at the hands of the respondent police.

3. When the matter was taken up hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioner's friend is missing since 2016. The last conversation is said to have been with the petitioner. The petitioner's involvement is suspected. However, there is no material as of now to fasten any liability on the petitioner.

4. Be that as it may, the respondents are directed to enquire the petitioner strictly in accordance with law. With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
