ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash FIR in Cr No.1 of 2018, pending investigation on the file of Inspector of Police, EOW-II, Tirunelveli.

2.The case of the prosecution is that one the petitioner is a paid director and other accused persons are Managing Directors and Shareholder of the company, run under the name and style of M/s.Thiripura Chits Private Limited having its registered office at No.36, II Floor, Jeenis Road, Saidapet, Chennai -600 015. The said company was started in the year 2003 and collected huge amount from the depositors. Thereafter, they did not pay the money to the depositors. Therefore, the victims preferred a complaint before the Law Enforcing Agency and a case was registered in Crime No.420, 406 and 120-B IPC.

3.There is no representation on behalf of the respondent No.2 4.A perusal of the records shows that the petitioner, who is one of the Directors, has been arrayed as A-4. There is no ground case established to grant the relief as sought for in this petition and the same is liable to be dismissed. 5.In view of the above, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
