The present petition is filed by the State to condone the delay of 396 days in preferring the aforesaid criminal appeal against the judgment of acquittal made in Spl.SC.No.2/2024, dated 02.09.2024, by the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Pudukottai District.

2.Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

3.Though notice was served on the respondent, none appears. The name of the respondent is also printed in the cause list.

4.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the petition is ordered and the delay of 396 days is condoned.

5.Registry is directed to number the criminal appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and list the same for admission.
