Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2. This criminal original petition has been filed for quashing the impugned First Information Report that has been registered for the offences under Section 506(ii) of I.P.C. and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that final report has since been filed on 02.07.2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kovilpatti, for the offences under Sections 294(b) and 506 (ii) of I.P.C.
4. Therefore, the learned jurisdictional Magistrate is directed to take call in the matter on merits and in accordance with law https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2557 of 2021 within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner to question the final report.
5. With this liberty to the petitioner, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
