Respondents Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent to remove the entry by closing the FIR in Crime No.234 of 2018 registered under Section 107 of Cr.P.C., based on the order dated 17.07.2020 made in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.13464 of 2018 by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents.
2.The first respondent initiated proceedings under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. against the petitioners herein. The petitioners herein filed Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13464 of 2018 questioning the same. By order dated 17.07.2020, the proceedings were qushed and the petition was allowed.

Crl.O.P(MD)No.2375 of 2022 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that in the online portal maintained by the Tamil Nadu Police Department, while Crime No.234 of 2018 registered under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. continues to be reflected, the order quashing the same is not reflected. The grievance of the petitioner is justified.
4.Therefore, the second respondent is directed to update the relevant entry and enter the detail that the proceedings initiated under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. pursuant to Crime No.234 of 2018 registered on the file of the second respondent was quashed by order dated 17.07.2020 made in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13464 of 2018. Such updating shall be done within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.This Criminal Original Petition is allowed on these terms.
