PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records on the file of the 2nd respondent in connection with the impugned order passed by him in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.8897/Aa2/2022 dated 06.01.2023 and quash the same as illegal and arbitrary and consequently directing the second respondent to conduct De Nova enquiry after affording opportunity to the petitioner to cancel the sale deeds registered on the file of 3rd respondent in Doc.Nos.8242/2022, 8244/2022, 8245/2022, 8246/2022, 8247/2022, 8248/2022, 8249/2022 and 8250/2022 dated 21.07.2022 executed by the 5th respondent in favour of respondents 6 to 12 within a time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

This writ petition is filed as against the order passed by the second respondent/the District Registrar,(Administration), Madurai in rejecting the claim of the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner's principal has accepted his signature in the life certificate.

2.Today(29.09.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition and he has also circulated a letter dated 27.09.2023 to that effect. 3.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No Costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
