This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.7 of 2017 dated 03.01.2017 on the file of the first respondent police.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that the investigation has been completed and the final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, and the same is yet to be taken on file.

3. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report, if so advised.
