This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the petitioner to call for the records pertaining to the final report filed by the first respondent police in S.T.C.No.274 of 2018 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.VI, Madurai and quash the same as illegal.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent police would contend that S.T.C.No.274 of 2018 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.VI, Madurai, ended in acquittal on 01.12.2023 and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition.
