Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to kept in abeyance the orders passed in No.1901/E1/2020 dated 05.10.2020 and Na.Ka.No.1555/Tha.pi/2022 dated 24.05.2023 respectively in accordance with the Circular No.3/2023 dated 29.09.2023 issued by the 1st Respondent in respect of pending legal issues with regard to Section 77A of the Registration Act.

ORDER

The present writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to keep in abeyance orders passed in No.1901/E1/2020 dated 05.10.2020 and Na.Ka.No.1555/Tha.pi/2022 dated 24.05.2023 respectively in accordance with the Circular No.3/2023 dated 29.09.2023 issued by the 1st Respondent in respect of pending legal issues with regard to Section 77A of the Registration Act.

2. Pending the writ petition, Section 77A of the Registration Act was considered by the Court and the same was struck down. Now the petitioner cannot agitate the issue before the respondents under Section 77A of the Registration Act. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to approach appropriate Civil Court to redress his grievance.

3. With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
