ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Trichy District, the 2nd respondent herein, not to harass the petitioner and his wife without following due process of law under the garb of conducting an enquiry into a complaint lodged by the 3rd respondent.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to the money dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent, the petitioner made a complaint dated 20.02.2020 to the respondent police. The grievance of the petitioner is that, till date, no action has been taken by the respondent police. Hence, the present petition.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2247 of 2021 4.Whatever might be the circumstances, the respondent police are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.02.2021 by following the principles laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in D.K.Basu Vs. State of West Bengal reported in AIR (1997) SC 610.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
