ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner against the life threat perceived from the respondents 3 to 6 on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 19.01.2024.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 to 6 would submit that previously one Kaliammal has filed a suit for partition in O.S.No.190 of 2006 and after full-trial, preliminary decree came to be passed on 21.07.2017 and as of now final decree proceedings are pending, that the sixth respondent has filed a suit in O.S.No.152 of 2011 with regard to gift settlement deed and the same came to be dismissed on 26.08.2015 on the ground that partition suit was pending and that the petitioner, by suppressing the proceeding in O.S.No.190 of 2006, has 2/4

filed the present petition by only referring the suit in O.S.No.152 of 2011.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner twice, enquiry was conducted and the same was closed.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate proceedings in the manner known to law.
