Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely "Sri Valli Thirumanam Nadagam" on 10.02.2022 at 10.00 p.,m to 06.00 a.m., and "Verapandia Kattabomman Nadagam" on 11.02.2022 at 10.00 p.m., to 06.00 a.m., in connection with "Puravi Edupu Vizha at Arulmigu Sri Inangamudi Ayyanar Kovil at Kambur Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District.

ORDER
The petitioner wants this Court to direct the second respondent to permit him to conduct the petition mentioned event. 2.Though the petitioner wants to hold the petition mentioned event after 10.00 pm, in view of the pandemic situation, the petitioner undertakes to conclude the event before 09.45 pm. This undertaking is recorded.

The second respondent is therefore directed to grant permission to the petitioner to hold the petition mentioned event. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate appropriate conditions for ensuring the smooth conduct of the event. The petitioner through his counsel gives an undertaking that the organizers of the event will adhere to the police directives.
4. Recording the said undertaking, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
