The petitioner has come forward with this petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking a direction to the respondent to secure the accused to enable him to expedite the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.537 of 2014.

Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent, on instruction, would submit that the respondent, after investigating the matter, has closed the same as action dropped and the action dropped report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Srirengam, on 20.11.2015.

4. Recording the same submission made by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
